Healthy breakfast fruit bowl

Of course, it is easier to grab some bread with some jam or peanut butter in the morning and you've had your breakfast for the day. But how about a breakfast with plenty of vitamins? It will fill you up and give you the energy you'll need for the morning.

A healthy fruit bowl takes a bit more time to prepare but for sure it won't give you that guilty feeling once you have started eating.
A tasty blend of nuts, seeds and fruit, the ultimate “super foods!” They’re such a top source of energy, protein, fat, and nutrients. And all this topped off with some low fat yogurt is all it requires to have a healthy mind in a healthy body!

Healthy Fruit bowl
2 Servings

Ingredients:
1 orange, peeled, sliced
5 strawberries, sliced
2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
2 bananas, sliced
1/2 mango, peeled and sliced
200gr (3/4 cup) low fat yoghurt
40gr (1/3 cup) walnuts, crushed
20gr (1/6 cup) roasted sunflower seeds

1. Combine well orange, strawberries, kiwis, bananas and mango and divide fruits over 2 bowls
2. Top off each bowl with half the yogurt and divide the walnuts and sunflower seeds over the 2 bowls.
Breakfast is ready. Serve with a nice cup of tea.
Enjoy!

  7. I usually skip breakfast, not because I wake up late or I’m always in a rush, it’s just that I don’t feel like eating anything. Anyway, that was before, I’ve changed since then. I still don’t eat much, just a yogurt mixed with fruits, and sometimes with oatmeal and I’m good to go. Start your day right by eating breakfast!
